The Hours Strange enter the studio

A lot has happened since 2017’s Ain’t Love Grand.

For one thing, the duo is now living on opposite ends of the world since Charlie T moved to Shanghai. The title is, therefore, a tad misleading, in the sense that there is not one studio but several, as the band writes and records the material for their new album.

More mature and self-confident, the duo is letting loose on the narrative of their songs — allowing themselves to be bolder and less constrained. At the same time, the music has grown more dramatic, evolving from Charlie’s bass lines to capture the full extent of Jette’s range and allowing her to soar.

The album will contain 8 new songs and a few remixes, and will be recorded in Shanghai, Miami, and New York.
